SUD Technician (Collaborative Court Program)

The SUD Technician, Collaborative Court Programs reports to the Program Manager of the Collaborative Court program. This role is responsible for carrying out the Collaborative Court Program Drug testing Protocol. This position is responsible for a wide range of activities to include but are not limited to:

• Accurately conduct the drug testing program in alignment and adherence to Agency policies and procedures and National Association of Drug court Best Practice Standards.
• Interacts with program clients, providing a welcoming and trauma-informed atmosphere and program experience.
• Directly observes both reproductive organs of those providing urine samples and those performing an oral swab sample.
• Create and maintain administrative forms for the department.
• Accurately and timely track participant data and other administrative tasks utilizing the Drug Testing Database.
• Responsible for confidential data entry and record-keeping in our system.
• Coordinate, attend and fully participate in regular team meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be computer literate (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)., * Minimum 1 year of work experience or specialized experience collecting drug test specimens or similar.
• Confidential data entry and record-keeping skills and experience.
• Required to have a valid driver’s license and properly registered and insured motor vehicle meeting the minimum level of insurance as defined under the California DMV Code.
• Meet background and security clearances.

Preferred

• Training/experience in substance use disorder treatment.
• Experience working with justice involved adults.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish languages.
• Not for profit experience.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social or human services or related field, preferred., * High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
