Data Analyst

• Develop, maintain, and manage a large portfolio of Tableau dashboards, ensuring they remain accurate, performant, and aligned with business needs
• Translate business questions into structured analyses, dashboards, and data solutions
• Write and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from Snowflake
• Perform exploratory analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities
• Ensure data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
• Automate reporting and data workflows where possible
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accessibility, structure, and usability

Vivint is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to develop and maintain reporting for the Sales Operations side of its direct-to-home sales division. We are looking for someone who is hungry to learn new skills, explore data relationships, build strong visualizations, and own reporting for an important and visible area of the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience writing SQL queries in Snowflake and working with Tableau, along with strong communication skills. This role will work closely with program stakeholders to gather requirements and produce high-quality reporting that is accurate, accessible, and impactful., * Strong proficiency in Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization

• Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
• Advanced SQL skills and strong experience working with large, complex, and varied datasets
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, * Demonstrates a high level of ownership and operates with minimal oversight, proactively identifying opportunities and driving work to completion.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to execute quickly and deliver results without getting blocked by ambiguity.
• Learns new tools, systems, and business concepts rapidly and can apply that knowledge immediately to solve problems.

• Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders across teams, gather requirements, manage expectations, and translate business needs into actionable insights.
• Equally effective collaborating with cross-functional partners and working independently on hands-on analytical work, including coding and dashboard development., * Experience with AI-assisted analytics tools (e.g., Copilot, Cortex)
• Experience with dbt or similar tools for data transformation and reporting support
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure)
• Experience collaborating with data engineering teams or understanding data pipelines
• Knowledge of statistics, A/B testing, or predictive modeling
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
