Job description
Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Software Integration Engineer to provide customer-facing support for high performance computing software in operational environments. In this role, you will ensure High Performance Computers continue to run effectively in support of mission operations. You will support and integrate software across UNIX, Linux, and Windows systems, including desktop applications, servers, and networked environments. This position involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and coordinating software integration to sustain reliable system performance. You will work in a secure environment supporting critical mission objectives.
Requirements

Must have the ability to provide customer support for high performance computing software to enable High Performance Computers to continue running in operational environments in support of the mission.

Must possess the ability to support and operate across UNIX, Linux, and Windows systems, including desktop applications, servers, and network environments required for mission execution.

Must be capable of performing Linux shell scripting and applying structured troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues.

Must have the ability to develop or support software using object-oriented programming languages such as C, C++, and Java, and to work with the GCC compiler as required by the position.

Must possess the ability to develop or support Python programming and additional scripting languages such as Perl or JavaScript as required by the position.

Must be capable of supporting multi-threaded software, parallel processing, and middleware or enterprise technologies such as CORBA and J2EE as required by the position.

Must have the ability to apply working knowledge of configuration management tools and perform system installation activities, including working with HPC government off-the-shelf scheduler and resource management software.

Must have six (6) years of demonstrable experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.

Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or eleven (11) years of relevant software integration experience if a degree is not held.

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
Salary Range: A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
