Job description
Master Data Governance Analyst to support the creation, maintenance, and integrity of product and finished goods data across multiple systems. This role is critical to ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across integrated enterprise platforms., * Manage product master data creation and maintenance, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Support finished goods setup and lifecycle management within ERP systems
- Enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures across systems and business processes
- Validate data accuracy across multiple integrated systems, ensuring proper data flow and alignment
- Identify, question, and resolve data inconsistencies by applying governance logic and business rules
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., business users, IT, data stewards) to ensure proper data usage and adherence to standards
- Support data quality initiatives, including cleansing, validation, and continuous improvement efforts
- Contribute to documentation, governance processes, and standard operating procedures related to master data
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in Master Data Management (MDM) with a strong focus on product and finished goods data governance, combined with a proactive mindset to challenge inconsistencies and uphold data quality standards., Master Data Expertise (Top Priority)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Master Data Management, with a focus on:
- Product master data
- Finished goods data management
- Data creation, maintenance, and governance
- Strong understanding of the master data lifecycle, including creation, validation, and ongoing maintenance
Governance Mindset
- Demonstrated ability to challenge inaccurate or incomplete requests
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, compliance, and business rules
- Ability to interpret and apply the “why” behind data standards rather than simply executing transactions
ERP System Experience
- Experience working within ERP systems, ideally:
- Oracle (preferred)
- SAP (acceptable alternative)
- Familiarity with how product and master data flows across enterprise systems
Attention to Detail & Execution
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Process-driven with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable owning and maintaining high-quality data standards, * Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries, including:
- Controlled product environments
- Regulatory compliance and governance frameworks
- Exposure to serialization-related data (preferred)
- Experience working with consumer products or product-based organizations
- Exposure to data validation, integration, or cross-system reconciliation processes
