Technical Support Assistant

We have a great opportunity at site, for someone to join the Technical Department as a Technical Support Assistant, this role will provide vital technical support within the Technical Team. You will liaise between departments, supporting with queries, managing databases, preparing reports and other tasks to support delivery of customer and department needs.

Essential Criteria

Prepare and maintain documentation related to Food Safety Compliance

Assist in maintaining and completing product, ingredient and packaging specifications

Complete ingredient risk assessments

Assist in the management of allergens and species cleaning validation through routine swabbing and testing

Assist with cook and validations

Ensure all data is accurate, legal and compliant

Assist in scheduling and maintaining annual calibration of equipment - contacting providers

Working with the technical team assisting with regular inspections and audits following compliance and Food Safety Standards

Ad Hoc duties when required

Do you have experience in Technical support?, Proven experience in food manufacturing or technical experience

Strong knowledge of customer specification portals (for example: SpecSafe, Oracle, Foods Connected, APP, Sassi etc)

Understanding of food labelling regulations and BRC standards

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent communication, proactive and eager to learn

Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages

Work well as part of a team and on own initiative
