Job description

  • Responsible for data security including implementation of TDE, data encryption at rest and in transit, and database hardening

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Oracle database administration experience (including hands-on experience on Oracle database upgrades, and database patching)

  • 2+ years of Hands-on experience with ORACLE (12c) database administration.

  • 3+ years of Hands-on experience in identifying poor performing SQL queries and performance tuning queries.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with scripting bash, python,

  • Hands-on experience on RMAN backup and restore. Copy/clone/refresh databases to other environments

  • Hands-on Experience with tools like ERWIN, TOAD, SQL Developer & OEM.

  • Effective communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Awareness on Chef and Jenkins

  • 1+ years of Terraform experience;

  • 1+ years of AWS cloud experience

  • Experience with SolarWinds

Responsibilities:

  • Regular database maintenance activities

  • Troubleshooting production and non-production database issues and working with AWS or Oracle to create and resolve trouble tickets.

  • Having played a Production support role will be an added advantage.

  • Hands-on experience on Fine Grained Audit and Flashback Archive (Total Recall)
