Job description

Ready to join a fun and growing team? Supply America is looking for a dedicated, and detailed-oriented individual, to join our dynamic team. The Data Quality/Rebate Analyst reviews and monitors the quality and accuracy of data coming in from our distributor partners. In this role, you will examine data to optimize efficiency and ensure standards of the data being collected, quickly resolve data quality problems, and collaborate with database developers to improve our systems and designs. The Data Quality/Rebate Analyst reviews incorrect data received through electronic files from the distributors and corrects product codes, unit of measures, and customer number information so the invoices can be released from exceptions. You will work to obtain correct information, as well as provide continual training and metrics to ensure performance improvements and produce monthly rebate reports. You will also assist the Customer Service team by answering customer calls or emails, as needed., * Daily report monitoring/cleansing - identify, assess, and resolve data quality issues

  • Maintain data to meet company standards
  • Ensure automated data feeds successfully populate materials
  • Communicate with distributors and manufacturers to ensure complete data is supplied
  • Produce monthly customer rebate reports
  • Add new customers and products to data files
  • Request necessary information for new items to be added or when data is missing
  • Manually populate non - automated or missing data as necessary via proprietary system
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements, provide user training
  • Provide customer service support for both external and internal customers
  • Identify and communicate reasons for automated failures to improve processes
  • Address the root cause of data inconsistencies and recommending improvements
  • Measuring and reporting to management on progress of data and rebate program improvements
  • Cross-train to support and back-up key operational functions
  • Compilation and formulation of monthly pricing
  • Special projects assigned by the Supply America leadership

Requirements

Do you have experience in Phone customer support?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, 5 years of experience in data/rebate analysis, with knowledge of best practices.

Expert Excel skills required, testing will be performed during the interview process.

Strong customer service skills - work closely with our distributors and vendors.

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, information management or similar work experience.

Necessary Skills

  • Ability to review, analyze and manage large volumes of data
  • Outstanding attention to detail and meticulous approach to work
  • Exceptional analytical and advanced problem - solving skills
  • Knowledge of best practices in data/rebate analysis as well as keeping abreast of developments and trends
  • Documenting processes and maintaining records
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, * Data management: 5 years (Required)
