Job description

We are seeking a Power BI Analyst to support our client headquartered in Cincinnati, OH. The Analyst will develop, maintain, and enhance business intelligence solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role will work closely with business leaders and end users to transform data into meaningful dashboards, reports, and insights., * Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
  • Create and maintain data models, measures, and KPIs using Power BI and DAX.
  • Connect and integrate data from ERP systems, SQL databases, spreadsheets, and other business applications.
  • Monitor dashboard performance, data accuracy, and report usability.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Develop automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting efforts.
  • Document reporting processes, data sources, and dashboard functionality.
  • Train end users and provide ongoing support for Power BI reporting tools.
  • Assist with data governance, data quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong Power BI expertise with a solid understanding of data modeling, reporting, and business processes in a fast-paced environment., * Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience working with ERP systems and operational business data.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or production environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or other cloud-based analytics platforms.
