Job description

Responsibilities A typical day in this role involves shaping the future of global engineering workflows and building developer-focused infrastructure:

  • Architecting, developing, and refining highly intuitive developer tools, robust SDKs, and clean API ecosystems that systematically eliminate engineering friction points.
  • Spearheading strategic automation initiatives to streamline testing, building, and seamless continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, core engineering teams, and ecosystem partners to diagnose and solve platform challenges.
  • Providing high-level technical direction, architectural oversight, and hands-on mentorship to empower engineering teams to adopt developer experience best practices.
  • Authoring and maintaining high-quality platform documentation, interactive developer portals, and reference sample code to support self-service integration.
  • Acting as a dedicated internal developer advocate, fostering an organizational culture rooted in automation and continuous delivery excellence.

Requirements

QualificationsMust-Haves8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a dedicated focus on developer experience (DevEx), platform engineering, or enterprise SDK infrastructure development. Advanced programming proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, TypeScript, or Go. Extensive production experience leveraging major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) paired with master-level automation and CI/CD tooling expertise. Proven track record of successfully leading complex technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams. Deep comprehension of the end-to-end software development lifecycle and modern automation methodologies. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills across diverse cross-functional teams. A genuine passion for boosting engineer workflow efficiency and creating clean, developer-facing products. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Nice-to-HavesPrior engineering experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. Demonstrated capability thriving within a completely distributed, asynchronous, remote-first team setting.
