Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join the team building CreditAI - our flagship AI product, internally described as “ChatGPT for Credit.” CreditAI is an advanced agentic platform embedded across our product ecosystem, enabling financial analysts to ask complex questions across massive volumes of structured and unstructured financial data and receive intelligent, sourced answers in real time.

This platform has been operating successfully in production for more than three years and currently supports analysis across millions of financial documents at enterprise scale. As a core engineer, you will help evolve the intelligence, reliability, and scalability of the system by advancing both the agentic reasoning layer and the underlying data infrastructure.

This role is ideal for engineers who have built and operated AI systems at production scale and can demonstrate architectural ownership, performance optimization, and system resilience under real-world load.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and enhance large-scale agentic AI systems, including orchestration, tool usage, retrieval pipelines, and reasoning layers.
  • Develop scalable ingestion, processing, indexing, and retrieval infrastructure across structured and unstructured financial datasets.
  • Improve production performance across latency, reliability, retrieval quality, resilience, and infrastructure efficiency.
  • Architect systems capable of operating and scaling across millions of documents with continued growth in volume and complexity.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver intelligent, production-grade AI capabilities.
  • Build and maintain high-quality Python services and infrastructure designed for scale and maintainability.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System design for system development?, * Strong software engineering background with advanced proficiency in Python and production system development.

  • Proven experience building and deploying agentic AI systems or complex LLM-powered applications at scale.
  • Deep understanding of retrieval architectures, orchestration frameworks, reasoning systems, and intelligent query pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience processing and querying large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Demonstrated expertise designing distributed, resilient systems with attention to reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Ability to discuss architecture decisions, tradeoffs, failure modes, and system behavior under production load.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with financial data platforms, credit analytics, or enterprise knowledge systems.
  • Background working with large document repositories and retrieval optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with distributed infrastructure, vector databases, search systems, and AI platform engineering.
  • Experience operating systems under high-scale production environments.
