Do you have experience in Mapping using GIS?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, This is a Department Promotional Examination and is open to eligible employees of the County Administrative Office - Information Technology Services.Examinations: Appraisal (Weight 100%): Will be conducted for the purpose of evaluating the applicant’s training, education, experience, interest and personal fitness for the position. Appraisal can be based on any combination of the following: Investigation, oral exam and/or rating of the application. Applicants must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the exam process.Examination components for promotional testing will be administered during scheduled date(s)/time(s)/location without exception.Minimum Qualifications/ Employment Standards: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field AND three (3) years of experience using ArcGIS or related GIS software with at least one (1) year of programming experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to obtain the knowledge and skill to perform the essential functions of the job.Please ensure applicable materials are attached to your application.
