Job description

Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC has multiple openings for Sr. IT Business Systems Analysts in Advance, NC.

Partner with the business to plan and scope business initiatives. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis. Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as needed: functional requirements through the Business Requirements Document (BRD), use cases, Graphical User Interface GUI, screen and interface designs. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Perform system set-up, configuration, administrative duties, and testing. Suggest best practices and opportunities for improvement through automation. Liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. Develop user manuals associated with the applications and conduct user training as needed. Maintain reference documentation which includes definition and source of data elements. Supply junior and mid-level business systems analysts with guidance and support as needed. Occasional Domestic Travel (5-10% of the time).

Requirements

Do you have experience in Programming languages?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related and three (3) years of experience in IT or related. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related, and one (1) year of experience in IT or related.

Also, must have experience in:

  • Data visualization software and analytics tools including Power BI, Tableau and Qlik Sense;
  • Data programming languages including Python and R;
  • Creating process flows using MS Visio;
  • Data management systems including MS SQL Server, MongoDB, Oracle and DB2;
  • Querying languages using SQL; and
  • Data modeling and data visualizations.
