• AWS cloud engineering across compute, networking, storage, and identity services
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Cloud networking and security fundamentals (VPCs, IAM, encryption, access control)
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
• Client-facing communication and technical consulting
• Operating in regulated, mission-critical environments
• Conceptual or hands-on exposure to Amazon Bedrock or AWS AI/ML services Requirements
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or related cloud engineering role
• Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, and networking constructs
• Practical experience implementing Infrastructure as Code
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
• Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical and customer stakeholders
• Experience working in consulting or customer delivery models
• Comfort working in environments with strict operational, security, and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Gas, Energy, Utilities, or other critical infrastructure clients
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional)
• Familiarity with data pipelines, APIs, and application integration patterns
• Understanding of cloud security frameworks and industry compliance standards
• Exposure to OT/IT integration considerations in utility or industrial environments
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock or other AWS AI/ML services (preferred but not required)

AWS Cloud Engineer Remote 9 months Rate: $80 - $85/hr on W2 Role Description This role is a hands-on AWS Cloud Engineer focused on designing, deploying, and operating cloud infrastructure in regulated and operationally sensitive environments. The engineer will work in client-facing, consulting delivery models, helping customers build secure, automated, and scalable AWS solutions using Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices. The role also supports emerging use cases such as generative AI on AWS (e.g., Amazon Bedrock), while prioritizing reliability, security, and compliance-particularly for critical infrastructure clients in Energy and Utilities.
