Job description

Designs and develops Appian-based applications for Avum’s federal government programs. Translates functional requirements into technical solutions using the Appian low-code platform., * Translate functional requirements into Appian technical specifications and solutions

Design and maintain relational database schemas and Appian Data Stores
Develop and tune SAIL interfaces, Expression Rules, and process models
Complete development tickets and participate in sprint commitments
Collaborate with QA teams on testing and defect resolution
Work with SMEs and clients to brainstorm and refine requirements
Support code reviews and maintain documentation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
2+ years of Appian development experience
Appian Certified Associate Developer or higher
Active Secret clearance
U.S. citizenship required
Experience with SQL/Oracle databases

Preferred Qualifications

Appian Certified Senior Developer
Java development skills
Experience with government procurement systems
Agile/Scrum experience

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 annually, with a target midpoint of $108,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic location.
