Job description

As a Lead Space Systems Integration Engineer, you will spearhead the transition of complex satellite designs into fully operational, mission-ready constellations. You will bridge the gap between initial engineering concepts and final launch readiness, ensuring technical excellence and operational efficiency throughout the entire assembly and testing lifecycle. Responsibilities

  • Direct the end-to-end planning and execution of satellite integration campaigns from initial assembly through final launch.
  • Analyze engineering schematics to identify potential build challenges early, implementing design-for-manufacturability improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership in the cleanroom, guiding troubleshooting efforts and serving as the final authority on assembly and test procedures.
  • Manage complex environmental testing sequences, including dynamics, thermal vacuum (TVAC), and electromagnetic interference (EMI/C) campaigns.
  • Optimize production throughput by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing data-driven solutions to reduce build hours.
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure mission success while maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical writing within technology?, * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in aerospace, automotive, or complex mechanical/electrical manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in spacecraft integration, systems engineering, or medium-rate production environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship., * 7+ years of specialized experience within the space systems industry.
  • Proficiency with hardware-integration tools such as NI LabVIEW, signal analyzers, and multimeters.
  • Strong background in data analysis and visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Python.
  • Experience with configuration management, PLM systems, and technical documentation for critical aerospace hardware.
