Job description
Provides expert systems engineering support across the Federal Agencies to ensure the delivery of timely and accurate GEOINT capabilities., * Lead requirements engineering, solutions engineering, systems integration, testing, reliability, resiliency, maintainability, and performance analysis efforts.
- Translate mission and customer needs into system requirements, architectures, and technical solutions.
- Analyze requirements, workflows, cloud capabilities, and scheduling constraints to improve existing systems and services.
- Advise on solution designs, emerging technologies, and engineering best practices.
- Support requirements allocation, architecture development, systems integration, and program execution.
- Lead Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Courses of Action (CoA), trade studies, and engineering assessments.
- Provide technical leadership in strategic planning, project management, risk management, and interface design.
- Serve as a senior advisor on mission needs, capability development, and enterprise modernization efforts.
- Coordinate integration activities across NGA, DIE, and Intelligence Community (IC) programs.
- Mentor and oversee senior, mid-level, and junior systems engineers.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Professional Engineer license?, Do you have experience in System requirements definition?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Master’s degree with 15+ years, or Bachelor’s degree with 18+ years, in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field.
- Expert-level experience with DoD/IC acquisition processes, requirements management, PPBES, and large-scale System-of-Systems, SOA, or cloud environments.
- Demonstrated experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of the Federal enterprise environments., * Doctorate in Systems Engineering or a related STEM discipline.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), associated tools, and methodologies.
- Software Development Framework certification.
- INCOSE Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) certification.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Active participation in professional organizations such as ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, OGC, SAREM, or USGIF.
- Experience in GEOINT, cloud technologies, big data, AI/automation, remote sensing, photogrammetry, GIS, geomatics, or related disciplines.
