Senior Web/Internet Designer

• Participate in discussions with business users and stakeholders to finalize requirements and maintain the product backlog
• Create application architecture layouts and review them with infrastructure and product teams
• Collaborate with software engineers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code that enhances user experience
• Create and maintain web applications using AWS and languages such as .NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Evaluate cloud services to determine appropriateness for web application implementation
• Support the modernization of BATS into a responsive, browser-based application aligned to mission and program requirements

Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * U.S. Citizen - required. (This differs from eligibility to work in the U.S.)

• On site 5 days a week in Huntsville, Alabama required.
• AWS Certification required.
• Public Trust (T4) Security Clearance required.
• 6+ years of web application development experience using modern web and cloud architecture and technologies used in application development
• Hands-on experience participating in discussions with business users and stakeholders to finalize requirements and product backlogs
• Experience creating application architecture layouts and reviewing them with infrastructure and product teams
• Ability to collaborate with software engineers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code that enhances the user experience
• Experience creating and maintaining web applications using AWS and languages such as .NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to evaluate cloud services and determine appropriateness for web application implementation
• Experience delivering software in Agile development environments and documenting code and implementation approaches using industry best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to support a mission-focused modernization effort with multiple stakeholder groups
• AWS Solution Architect certification (required)
• CompTIA Security+ certification (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in IT from an accredited institution is preferred., * 6+ years of web application development experience using modern web and cloud architecture and technologies used in application development
• Hands-on experience participating in discussions with business users and stakeholders to finalize requirements and product backlogs
• Experience creating application architecture layouts and reviewing them with infrastructure and product teams
• Ability to collaborate with software engineers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code that enhances the user experience
• Experience creating and maintaining web applications using AWS and languages such as .NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to evaluate cloud services and determine appropriateness for web application implementation

• Experience supporting federal or law-enforcement mission systems is highly desired for the BATS modernization environment
• Experience building responsive, user-friendly web applications integrated with modern APIs and cloud services is strongly desired
