Job description

In the late 1970’s, the Bose home audio business was off and running! Our founder, Dr. Amar Bose, sat in an office at MIT, musing with a colleague about a new idea. When crafting speakers for the home, it was impossible to account for the acoustics of the room those speakers sat in, where they were placed, and where they were in relation to the listener. But in the automobile cabin, you could account for all three. So, it would stand to reason that a sound system specifically crafted for a certain audio cabin could drastically improve the in-car audio experience. And when in 1982, the first Cadillac Seville rolled off the line with the first factory installed, Bose custom-designed audio system ever, the potential of Dr. Bose’s idea was realized!

Today, we work with automobile Manufacturers across the globe to deliver outstanding audio-based experiences and more, applying thoughtfully coordinated and meticulously engineered loudspeakers, amplifiers, and signal processing. And even though we’ve done incredible things, we know we’ve only scratched the surface of what’s possible.

We offer an excellent working environment with a collaborative, team-oriented approach, and flexible working hours. We love what we do and are eager to spread the joy of working for Bose to every employee.

At Bose, we recognize test development as an engineering field with unique technical challenges distinct from product development.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop System Qualification and Integration Tests
  • Develop a keen understanding of the technology to be tested as well as the test equipment capabilities and limitations
  • Ensure requirements are clear and testable
  • Devise methods of fully testing the system and integration requirements when not all interfaces are exposed for test
  • Write clear and useful test cases
  • Ensure tests are:
  • Repeatable
  • Accurate
  • Appropriately precise, Our goal is to create an atmosphere where every candidate feels supported and empowered in the interviewing process. Diversity and inclusion are integral to our success, and we believe that providing reasonable accommodation is not only a legal obligation but also a fundamental aspect of our commitment to being an employer of choice.
