We are committed to the professional development of our associates through on-the-job learning opportunities and training., The Retail Change Leadership Change Specialist supports the Manager of Retail Training and Change Leadership to develop and deliver organizational change efforts. This person supports the intake process to develop content for large scale change management efforts and events, which includes logistics, ownership of the table coach program and the support of work stream lead content preparation. In addition, this person provides support for banner initiative immersions, * Champions innovative change management approaches that energize engagement and ensure successful adoption. *

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with business leaders, positioning the team as trusted experts in change leadership.
  • Partners to design and deliver content and learning approaches that fully immerse Retail Leadership in change initiatives, ensuring strong adoption of strategic priorities across both in-person and hybrid (virtual/live) environments.
  • Supports the development and execution of change management strategies to effectively implement and sustain the ā€œEasy, Fresh and Affordable-You Can Count on Food Lion Every Day and Count on meā€ across the Food Lion banner.
  • Collaborates with Retail Leadership and Retail Field Support teams to plan and execute large-scale immersion experiences (i.e., ā€œOur Next Conversationā€) annually across the Food Lion banner.
  • Accountable for logistics and materials related to large scale organizational change management effort
  • Leads and manages the Table Coach program, strengthening adult learning experiences and reinforcing key messages during change management sessions.
  • Drives organizational growth and learning for retail banner initiatives, collaborating with leaders to align change management with strategic business priorities (e.g., Food Lion To Go, Customer Service Experience).
  • Supports continuous improvement of change management strategies, tools, and sustainability approaches across the Food Lion banner.
  • Leads and sustains key Count on me (COM) programs, including development and maintenance of materials. For example

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Zoom?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Proven facilitation skills and general knowledge of and experience with Adult Learning Theory.

  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Proficiency with virtual platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom) and troubleshooting basic technical issues, * Strong facilitation & experience Delivery skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and time management skills., * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, * Cross-Organizational Collaboration and Teamwork skills.

TRAVEL

  • This role requires frequent travel (approximately 60%) to support Retail initiatives across the banner and a valid driver’s license .
