Job description

As the Data Analyst at L&S Mechanical, you will play a key role in transforming how the company leverages data to drive decision-making. Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, you will spend time with teams throughout the organization to understand how they work, identify pain points and uncover opportunities to improve visibility, efficiency and decision-making through data. You will explore available data, build and test reporting and analytical solutions and help transform successful prototypes into sustainable tools that deliver long-term value to the business.

General Responsibilities

· Consolidate and eliminate manual reporting by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools.

· Create standard and ad-hoc reports.

· Create analytical tools for managers and departments.

· Identify trends or patterns in complex data sets.

· Develop and optimize SQL queries and Power BI solutions that transform company data into actionable reporting, analytics and performance insights while adhering to technical standards and best practices.

· Design, test and refine Power BI reports, dashboards and analytical tools to ensure accuracy, usability and business value.

· Work directly with managers and departments to explore business challenges, identify opportunities and develop reporting and analytical solutions.

· Collaborate with teams to brainstorm, prototype and refine reports, dashboards and analytical tools.

· Identify meaningful comparisons, metrics and performance indicators that help leaders make informed decisions.

· Partner with other IT team members to ensure reporting and analytics solutions are reliable, maintainable and aligned with technical standards and best practices.

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tooling?, · Experience developing reports, dashboards and analytical tools

· Ability to translate business challenges into practical analytical solutions.

· Comfortable working directly with teams to understand processes, challenges and opportunities
