Job description

Design and development of manual and automated Test Plans and Cases based on client approved requirements and specifications; reviews test plans and test cases with the client; obtain client sign-off; Create and maintain defect logs; provide summary reports on defects and support root cause resolution with programming/engineering teams.; maintains systems to ensure application reliability, scalability, and compliance prior to release. periodically audit project files and documents for compliance with IDP procedures, standards and guidelines; participate in all staff meetings as required; Align test strategies with stakeholders, audit QA artifacts, and contribute to process improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, validate technical documentation for coverage, and maintain system expertise while performing duties per QA standards.; carry out in integration, functional and data testing to ensure the final implementation of standards through the successful execution

Requirements

of the Site process and procedures; work with On Site team, development teams, project managers, technical services, and business users. Relocation/ telecommuting may be required plus travel to various unanticipated client locations within the United States for short and long term assignments.

Languages, Skills and Tools: Any suitable combination of the following tools: JAVA, RESTful API, HTML, Oracle, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, CA Jobtrac & amp; Control-M, ITSM, Linux, GIT, GitHub, Maven, Splunk, ELF Logs, Grafana, Dynatrace, Load Balancing, Unix, Putty, Hadoop, MapReduce, HDFS, Sqoop, Pig, HBase, Hive, Unix, AppDynamics.

Education: Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Engineering (Computer Science/Electronics/Mechanical). Will accept Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Engineering (Computer Science/Electronics/Mechanical) plus five (5) years of progressive experience in related fields in lieu of Masters Degree. Will accept foreign education equivalent.
