Job description

An Identity Access Management Engineer should demonstrate commitment to delivering distinctive service. This provides support for various functions within the Identity Management team. This position is meant as a ā€œtechnical operatorā€ for different technology in the organization. An Identity Access Management Engineer is also responsible for documentation of systems, operational turnover for support, and cross training other team members amongst other duties as assigned., * Provide distinctive service to clients and prospects, in person and over the telephone. Respond to associate inquiries and satisfactorily resolve client/associate issues. Support firm-wide achievement of the three-ring standard (all phones answered by a live person within three rings).

  • Enhances Information Security environment by supporting system configuration; generating reports; following up with team members to ensure required actions are completed and working within security tools.

  • Secures environment by establishing and enforcing policies, identifying security gaps and providing recommended resolutions to increase overall security posture or maintain organizational risk within acceptable levels.

  • Provide break/fix support for Identity Management tools as needed. This can include after-hours support or product releases.

  • Assists in streamlining Information Services Activities such as project implementation, technical improvements, etc.

  • Assist other team members as needed to ensure delivery of distinctive service, knowledge transfers, support, or other items as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in appropriate field

  • 3-6 years of experience in Identity and Access Management engineering

  • Hands-on experience with SailPoint (IdentityIQ, IdentityNow, RSA SecurID, Ping Identity, BeyondTrust, CyberArk, Okta or equivalent.

  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and IAM engineering concepts

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems. Other technologies based on role being fulfilled. *e.g. Nextgen Firewall, EDR, etc.

  • Familiarity with Okta and identity integrations

  • Experience supporting integrations, workflows, and troubleshooting IAM issues

  • Working understanding of programming code (e.g. Json, Java, C++, C#, xml)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Visio).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work deep in technical systems

Strong communication skills and ability to work in an Agile, fast-moving environment Understanding of control measures and requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA, PCI, or other regulatory requirements as required.
