Join our dynamic healthcare team as a DAY/EVE/NOC Med Tech, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across various shifts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, and community-based settings, providing compassionate support to individuals with diverse needs. As a Med Tech, you will be responsible for performing medical procedures, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will help enhance the quality of life for residents and patients while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. This role is perfect for motivated professionals eager to make a positive impact through skilled caregiving and medical support., * Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders, including tube feeding, catheter care, and medication administration.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to assess patient health status.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and hygiene care for residents or patients.
- Document all medical procedures, observations, and patient responses meticulously using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems like Epic or Cerner.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring dementia or Alzheimer’s care by providing personalized attention and behavioral support.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and patient information.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and respond promptly to emergent health issues or changes in condition.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Patient interaction?, * Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and clinical procedures such as catheter care and vital signs measurement.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or those requiring memory care or hospice services.
- Strong communication skills combined with compassionate caregiving qualities; ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including day, evening, or overnight (NOC) hours while maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort. Join us in making a meaningful difference every day!
