DAY/EVE/NOC Med Tech

As a Med Tech, you will be responsible for performing medical procedures, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities in a fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for motivated professionals eager to make a positive impact through skilled caregiving and medical support., * Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders, including tube feeding, catheter care, and medication administration.

• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to assess patient health status.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and hygiene care for residents or patients.
• Document all medical procedures, observations, and patient responses meticulously using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems like Epic or Cerner.
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring dementia or Alzheimer’s care by providing personalized attention and behavioral support.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and patient information.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and respond promptly to emergent health issues or changes in condition.

Do you have experience in Patient interaction?, * Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and clinical procedures such as catheter care and vital signs measurement.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or those requiring memory care or hospice services.
• Strong communication skills combined with compassionate caregiving qualities; ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
