Job description

We are looking for a Mid-level TS/SCI-cleared Cartographic Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work within a government/contractor team environment providing Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production, and Review.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support existing and developing mission areas, including Digital Nautical Chart or Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion production.

  • Perform cartographic and GIS analysis by extracting features from various sources, such as rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data, and ortho-rectified imagery.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience with a relevant Bachelor’s Degree, OR a High School Diploma with 4 years of experience plus GPC Level I and II certification, OR a High School Diploma with 5 years of relevant military or full-time geospatial professional experience.

  • Experience in geography, cartography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with proficiency in ArcGIS applications.

  • Knowledge of digital cartography, GIS production techniques, and NGA digital data formats.

  • Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source data for hydrographic products and databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Nautical Maritime domains.

Education:

  • High School diploma or related Bachelor’s degree

Clearance Requirement:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required, with a willingness to obtain a polygraph upon request
