Job description

Premier Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Senior EO Imagery Scientist / Exploitation Specialist to support the NGA MAVEN Program. This position serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Electro-Optical (EO) imagery, providing technical leadership for imagery acquisition, exploitation, curation, preprocessing, sensor integration, and data preparation supporting advanced GEOINT and AI/ML initiatives.

The successful candidate will leverage expertise in remote sensing, EO phenomenology, image processing, and imagery exploitation to support the development of next-generation intelligence capabilities across the Intelligence Community., * Serve as the EO imagery SME supporting NGA MAVEN exploitation, sensor integration, and data operations.

  • Evaluate and integrate emerging EO sensors and platforms into existing Government data pipelines and workflows.
  • Assess new sensor characteristics, metadata structures, data formats, and acquisition methods to support operational integration.
  • Develop imagery preprocessing, tiling, orthorectification, and transformation workflows for AI/ML model development.
  • Analyze image quality, sensor metadata, and collection geometry to optimize imagery acquisition and exploitation strategies.
  • Generate and manage imagery pre-labels derived from intelligence reporting, machine observations, and human analysis.
  • Collaborate with SAR Imagery Scientists and technical teams to provide coincident EO imagery supporting multi-sensor exploitation efforts.
  • Develop mathematical models and automated processes to convert imagery between formats while maintaining geospatial accuracy and metadata integrity.
  • Manage daily imagery curation, acquisition, preprocessing, and weekly delivery operations.
  • Support Government priorities for data diversity, quality assurance, and rapid operational response requirements.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Testing and evaluation?, * Active TS/SCI Clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Remote Sensing, Geospatial Intelligence, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting EO imagery exploitation, analysis, and remote sensing operations.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • EO collection systems and phenomenology
  • Image formation processes
  • Remote sensing principles
  • Imagery exploitation methodologies
  • Sensor metadata and image quality assessment
  • Experience exploiting EO imagery to identify and locate objects, activities, and intelligence targets.
  • Experience developing, testing, and evaluating imagery processing algorithms, workflows, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency with advanced analytical tools such as:
  • Python
  • MATLAB
  • Google Earth Engine
  • Other geospatial processing platforms
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience applying Computer Vision (CV), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) techniques to EO imagery and intelligence problems.
  • Experience supporting NGA, NRO, DIA, DoD, or Intelligence Community GEOINT programs.
  • Experience with large-scale imagery curation and cloud-based geospatial processing environments.
  • GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC) preferred., * supporting EO imagery exploitation, and remote sensing : 5 years (Required)

  • Top Secret (Preferred)
