Job description
- Develop and implement web application features and modules based on technical designs and requirements
- Participate in Agile sprint cycles, including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Support requirements gathering activities, including stakeholder collaboration and user story development
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and acceptance criteria
- Perform manual and automated testing, including regression testing and defect tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable applications
- Maintain code documentation and contribute to technical documentation deliverables
Requirements
Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 3-6 years of professional experience in web development
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with experience in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON-based data exchange
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies
- Experience supporting testing activities, including writing and executing test cases
- Strong written communication skills and ability to contribute to technical documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent experience (additional years of experience in lieu of degree), * Experience supporting federal or DoD programs
- Familiarity with Section 508 and/or WCAG accessibility standards
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest)
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or similar
Work Environment & Requirements
- Work is performed on-site at NAVSUP Business Systems Center in Norfolk, VA
- Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to the Hampton Roads area
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (Tier 2 or higher) clearance
- This position follows a full-time federal contract schedule (no remote or part-time options)

- Public Trust (Tier 2 or higher); Secret preferred
