Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled candidate to lead and drive end-to-end DevOps and production operations within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale technology programs, particularly in Credit Card, Payment, Banking, or Financial institutions. This role requires a hands-on approach to implementing and optimizing continuous integration and delivery pipelines, as well as managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring system reliability., * Lead and manage DevOps initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of development and operations teams.

  • Design, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines to facilitate smooth software releases.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure using automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of production and non-production environments on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Implement monitoring, ing, and logging systems to ensure 24/7 system reliability and performance.
  • Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization and scaling.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks, troubleshoot production issues, and enhance system performance.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards across all systems.
  • Lead and mentor junior resources, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Communicate effectively with technical teams to manage day-to-day challenges and developmental risks.

Requirements

  • Proficient in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Groovy, Python, Bash, Ruby, or PowerShell.
  • Expertise in Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization.
  • Experience in implementing automation technologies and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, 5 days a week in-office.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with business process modeling and documentation tools.
  • Product implementation experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
