Job description

Konexus is seeking a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure and platform engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who has recently graduated or gained initial hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, or systems operations and is eager to grow in a collaborative environment. You will work alongside senior engineers to automate deployments, maintain cloud infrastructure, and improve the reliability and observability of our SaaS platform., * Assist in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker

  • Support AWS infrastructure management across EC2, ECS, and serverless environments
  • Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, C#, PowerShell and shell scripts
  • Monitor platform health using NewRelic, CloudWatch, and ELK stack
  • Collaborate with developers to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows
  • Contribute to container management with Docker and Docker Compose
  • Document runbooks, deployment procedures, and infrastructure configurations
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Join the engineering team’s shared on-call rotation after six months, * Angular, C# with ASP.NET Core, and ASP.NET Framework
  • SQL Server database with ORM Lite for data access
  • ElasticSearch for advanced search functionality
  • Open API Specification for RESTful API contracts
  • RESTful API development and third-party integrations

Infrastructure & Tools:

  • AWS services (EC2, Serverless, Elastic Container Service, CloudFront, Networking, IAM, Monitoring)
  • Message queuing with RabbitMQ and AWS SQS
  • Caching solutions using Redis and Memcached
  • CI/CD automation with Jenkins Pipelines and Docker-Compose
  • Monitoring and observability with NewRelic, AWS CloudWatch, and ELK stack
  • Containerization with Docker

AI & Productivity Tools:

  • AI-powered code completion and generation tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.)
  • AI assistants for debugging, code review, and technical problem-solving
  • Automated code documentation and test generation using AI tools

Requirements

Do you have experience in Version control systems?, Do you have a Bachelor of Science?, * 1+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud operations, or systems administration - or strong academic/internship background

  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and command-line tooling (Bash, PowerShell)
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and at least one pipeline tool (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Basic experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC) or another major cloud provider
  • Exposure to containerization concepts (Docker)
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
  • Genuine enthusiasm for automation, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement
  • Object Oriented Programming experience or experience in a managed programming language, * Experience with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or other IaC tools
  • Familiarity with Jenkins pipelines or Groovy scripting
  • Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, NewRelic, ELK stack)
  • Basic scripting skills for automation tasks in Windows and Linux systems
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (OSI Model, DNS)
