You will secure the overall architectural quality in the IT investment
You will be responsible for fact-based architectural decisions that secure the business value and keeps the total cost of ownership of the IT investment as low as possible
You will lead and coordinate the overall architectural work within projects, covering all included solutions
You will deliver appropriate artifacts to clearly communicate business, information, application, integration and technology architectures typically in the context of projects
You will raise architectural issues and concerns
You will be supporting Enterprise Architects with defining the VFS target architecture

Recognized university-level degree in Computer Science or related field
At least 3 years of experience as a solution architect
At least 5 years of experience as a software architect/lead developer
Experience running several solution architecture projects
Experience leading a team through architectural decisions and implementations
Some knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry
Good communication skills, advanced level of English (oral and written)
Ability to assure an architecture according to Volvo Group Target Architecture and the 10 Architectural Principles
Leading skills to be a role model for the IT-solution development team in balancing business requirements and architectural decisions
Capacity to present architectural decisions to technical and non-technical audiences
Goal-oriented and positive attitude to deliver against targets
Strong problem solving & analysis skills: identifying, structuring and tackling a problem situation
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Experience with Agile practices
Good understanding of design patterns and principles
