Job description

Insight Global is looking for a DevOps / Release Management professional supporting critical wire and ACH payment platforms, overseeing deployments, environment support, and release execution across customer-facing and internal applications. The individual operates within a release control room model, coordinating stakeholders, managing orchestration workflows, and ensuring stable, automated, and compliant releases. The role emphasizes hands-on execution, automation, and reliability, with responsibilities spanning runbook management, infrastructure patching, CI/CD improvement, and continuous optimization across cloud-based, Linux environments supporting global portfolios. Pay rate is $44.17.

Requirements

  • DevOps / Release Management role supporting critical payment platforms (ACH / Wire)

  • End-to-end deployments and environment support across Non-Prod and Prod

  • Operate in a manager control room / release command-center model

  • Support both customer-facing (CashPro Online) and internal applications

  • Ownership of release planning, coordination, and execution

  • Strong stakeholder communication across technology and business teams

  • Hands-on experience with release orchestration tools (XLR preferred)

  • Experience with large-scale, multi-tier application releases

  • Drive automation-first mindset; identify and automate manual release steps

  • Produce and maintain runbooks, deployment plans, and orchestration workflows

  • Coordinate infrastructure patching and middleware changes

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, SDLC, and ITIL practices

  • Experience in Linux-based environments * SRE-oriented mindset (reliability, observability, automation)

  • Strong automation background and willingness to embrace AI-enabled tooling

  • Experience in finance / BFSI domain

  • Cloud-based DevOps middleware environments

  • Exposure to MIA / Asia application portfolios

  • DevOps tooling: Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, Artifactory

  • Scripting or programming: Python, Shell, Java, Groovy

Monitoring, alerting, and operational tooling experience
