Job description

Lead network design, installation and maintenance activities to achieve maximum availability. Design, recommend, specify and implement technology solutions and lead team members in project deployments. Provide statistical analysis for capacity planning. Lead teams in providing technical support as needed to lead in resolving network problems. Provide network support and lead others providing network support with a variety of operating systems.Lead teams who install and configure computer network equipment. Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations. Provide network support to users. Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources. Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up. Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades. Monitor network to ensure optimal performance. Create and maintain network users/permissions. Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility. Create technical support documentation for systems and applications. Estimated salary range for this position is $96682.12 - $125686.76 / year depending on experience.

Requirements

Degrees:

  • Bachelors.

Additional Qualifications:

  • B.
  • S.
  • in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience/training.
  • CCNA Certification preferred.
  • 10 years of demonstrated experience in network, system, or software architecture, design, implementation, support, and evaluation of network-focused tools and services.
  • Highly proficient and hands-on experience in following communication protocols TCP/IP, MBGP/BGP, OSPF and VXLAN.
  • Advanced knowledge and application of IT Networking best-practices.
  • In the field knowledge and experience and expertise of advanced networking concepts (WiFi, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VOIP, etc.
  • ).
  • Significant experience administering core network infrastructure (SD-WAN, Edge Firewall, Route/Switch Environment, etc.
  • ).
  • Significant experience administering hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience administering on-prem VOIP Phone systems, IP Faxing, and Cloud Conference/Meetings solutions.
  • Cisco IOS/SANoS/NXOS in-depth knowledge and experience required.
  • Experience managing Small to large projects from research to implementation.
  • Significant experience with programming / scripting languages.
