Drone Assembly/Quality Assurance Technician

About the Role: Spectra360 is seeking an enthusiastic Quality Assurance Technician - Metrology to join the manufacturing quality team inside of the incoming quality space. This role requires a metrology skill set combined with solid soft skills and a keen interest in aerospace-related hardware. This role will be located on-site at a manufacturing facility (remote work not available):

Days and Swing Shift Available

6:00 am to 2:30 pm - 3:30pm to 12:00 am

How you’ll make an impact:

• You will focus on the incoming quality of mechanical parts. Primarily verifying that supplier products meet final assembly manufacturing requirements

• Develop CMM programs and efficient inspection strategies

• Improve quality tab tool set

• Improve incoming quality processes and documentation.

Do you have experience in Manufacturing facility?, * 3+ years in machine shop experience

• 3+ years of reading GD&T, and ability to execute measurements accordingly

• Ability to use CMM/OMM, hand inspection tools, gages, calipers, scales, etc

• Identifying and documenting defects, communicating issues with the production and quality team engineers

• Knowledge of spreadsheets (ability to gather data and do basic analysis)

• Knowledge of Google Slides (generating single slide summaries)

• Incredible attention to detail

• Quality champion mindset

• Ability to teach/mentor junior technicians.
