Job description

The Mid-Level Cloud Engineer will provide full-time, remote support (based on East coast time zone) for a government customer. Responsibilities include technical quality and coordination with customer technical leads throughout information technology (IT) requiring availability during normal hours of operation. Successful candidates will also design and support Cloud-Native solutions on AWS, including services such as EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, GitHub actions, Terraform, VPC networking with a focus on scalability, security and automation.

Requirements

Do you have experience in S3?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Position Requirements: The Mid-Level Cloud Engineer must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related subject
  • Experience in organizing, directing, and managing multiple, complex, and interrelated application development and testing tasks
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting highly automated cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and VPC networking
  • Knowledge of tax-processing, tax compliance, case management and taxpayer data (preferred)
  • Active advanced Cloud and/or advanced Databricks certifications (preferred)
  • Must be able to pass a background check including criminal and financial background
  • Ability to work from home
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong problem solving and analytical skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimal management input
  • Must be able to work in a geographically distributed team environment, and exhibit professionalism at all times., * Do you have knowledge of or experience with tax-processing, tax compliance, case management and taxpayer data? If so, please describe source of it.

Experience:

License/Certification:
