Job description

This full-time, senior-level technical position is responsible for structuring and enhancing Gaia Herbs’ IFS ERP environment to align business process improvements with company strategy. The IFS Solutions Architect plays a key role in designing and implementing process optimizations that support manufacturing and finance workflows. The role involves analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and supporting both new and existing processes, with a core focus on enhancing functional capabilities and fostering cross-functional collaboration. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise in IFS ERP, and the ability to work closely with internal teams and vendor partners to drive solutions that support Gaia Herbs’ business goals., * End-to-End Process Design and Improvement: Analyze and structure business process changes to drive improvements within Gaia Herbs’ IFS ERP system, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives and operational goals.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather and translate business and user requirements in consultation with business managers and end users to develop functional specifications.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Issue Resolution: Conduct root cause analysis with business users to identify areas for improvement, outline project objectives, define project scope, estimate resources, and determine functional and technical specifications.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and oversee testing strategies to ensure the ERP system meets established requirements and specifications.
  • Demonstration and Documentation: Support business initiatives through IFS demonstrations and documentation of processes and functional requirements.
  • Technical Solution Development: Transform business and technical requirements into focused, customer-centric solutions that meet Gaia Herbs’ needs.
  • IFS ERP Expertise and Training: Stay current with IFS capabilities, offering guidance and training to ensure effective system utilization.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage and coordinate vendor partners to ensure smooth project implementation and resolution of issues., * Junior and Associate level Developers
  • Manages hiring, goal setting, performance reviews, professional growth of direct reports.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Waterfall software development?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 5 years of ERP experience, with at least 2 years in a Solutions Architect role, specifically within IFS ERP V.9 or V.10+ environments.

Two or more implementations as a Solution Architect or Functional Analyst with a focus on finance and manufacturing modules.

Experience in designing core business flows and developing functional/technical solutions for large-scale projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of IFS ERP architecture, especially in configurable manufacturing environments.

Proficient understanding of business process frameworks and the ability to apply architectural principles to enterprise solutions.

Familiarity with business processes including Order to Cash and Procure to Pay, with a proven track record of implementing improvements within these areas.

Experience with business process modeling tools and techniques.

Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project implementation.

Effective communication skills, capable of clearly conveying technical requirements to stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with an ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams., Example - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
