Job description

In your day to day, you can expect that you will:

  • Build and apply your understanding of the Java development life cycle
  • Design, configure, test, implement, and maintain web-based apps
  • Contribute your unique and fresh perspective to fulfill client needs
  • Collaborate with just about everybody, including all the acronyms: user experience (UX), information architecture (IA), search engine optimization (SEO)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar web development field
  • 5+ years of experience building apps with a Java-based stack and Object-Oriented Programming
  • Initiative, intellect, and reliability, plus strong stamina for learning new technology
  • Fundamental front-end development experience using JavaScript and HTML
  • Knowledge of code-versioning tools like Git
  • Bonus points for experience with Apache Sling, OSGi development, JSP development, Apache web server, and CSS
