Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Workday Solution Architect / Workday HCM Functional Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. In this role, you will serve as a key technical and functional expert, translating business requirements into scalable, efficient Workday architectures that drive organizational success. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems, uphold best practices in system design, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance HR operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape enterprise HR technology strategies while working in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment., * Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for Workday HCM implementations, upgrades, and integrations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and design scalable system solutions utilizing best practices in system architecture and solution architecture.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications, system design documents, and integration plans for Workday modules including Core HCM, Talent Management, Compensation, Absence Management, and Payroll.
  • Oversee the configuration of Workday HCM features to meet business needs while maintaining compliance with security policies such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and information security standards.
  • Integrate Workday with other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, web services, and middleware tools like Pegasystems or custom scripting solutions.
  • Implement automation and DevOps practices using tools such as Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
  • Ensure system stability through proactive monitoring of performance metrics related to load balancing, system administration, virtualization (e.g., VMware), and operating systems like Linux or Windows.
  • Stay current with industry trends in cloud computing (AWS, Azure), microservices architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra to recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Solution architecture?, * Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Functional Architect specializing in Workday HCM modules within large enterprise environments.

  • Deep understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), system design principles, and enterprise integration techniques involving APIs (RESTful API), web services, and middleware platforms like Pegasystems.
  • Strong background in IT systems engineering including knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Windows), virtualization (VMware), networking concepts (VPN, DNS, DHCP), and cybersecurity measures such as firewalls.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Bash scripting or Shell Scripting for automation purposes.
  • Familiarity with database management systems including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server; experience designing schemas using T-SQL or PL/SQL is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), DevOps practices for continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of computer networking protocols including DNS and DHCP; experience managing RBAC permissions within complex systems environments is preferred.
  • Educational background in Computer Science or Systems Engineering; certifications related to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) or enterprise architecture frameworks are a plus.
