Job description

  • Maintain and continually develop software applications.

  • Work on two major projects involving data management and AWS footprint.

2 projects:

Project 1 is data managers- React based strictly

React, GitHub actions and how they deploy, docker-deploy locally, jump into code of react- shot link API directly to tour- in use 8+ months been used live running through bugs under consistent development

2nd project is much larger AWS footprint, front end react based (data manipulation) backend stood up around it C# .Net 7 containers to full AWS std, ecs containers app sync, dynamo dv, s3- knowledge on how to do and troubleshoot of this- multi environment levels spanning 3 regions

  • Handle live data from Shotlink 2 and PGA Tour APIs, with a focus on data manipulation.

  • Troubleshoot issues quickly in React and C# environments.

Collaborate with a team of engineers located in the US and India.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering

  • 3+ years in AWS: S3, Dynamo DB etc.

Backend Engineer experience with Lambdas microservices

  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and ingest code using Jenkins and Selenium

  • Strong data manipulation skills

  • Proficiency in Python, React, C#, MICAS

  • Ability to troubleshoot docking issues effectively

Flexibility to work from Thursday to Monday with Tuesday and Wednesday off; supporting PGA tours events over weekends is mandatory Knowledge of golf will be considered an added advantage. The candidate should be ready to work in a fast-paced startup environment and possess the ability to propose solutions confidently.
