Job description

PEG Staffing & Recruiting’s client is seeking an experienced and strategic IT Director to lead and oversee all aspects of the organization’s technology infrastructure, cybersecurity initiatives, enterprise systems, and IT operations. This leadership role will partner closely with executive leadership to align technology strategies with overall business objectives while ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency across the organization., The IT Director will be responsible for developing and executing the organization’s IT vision and strategy while overseeing daily IT operations across multiple locations. This individual will lead infrastructure initiatives, ERP implementation and optimization, cybersecurity efforts, vendor management, e-commerce system performance, and long-term technology planning., * Design, deploy, maintain, and oversee enterprise-wide IT infrastructure including cloud-based operations, LAN/WAN environments, software systems, and telecommunications

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that support organizational goals and long-term business growth
  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices
  • Coordinate and oversee IT security audits, investigations, and risk mitigation efforts
  • Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery protocols to minimize operational disruptions
  • Research, design, and deploy multi-site ERP systems and related integrations
  • Oversee e-commerce operations to ensure reliable 24/7 functionality for B2B and B2C customers
  • Guide the integration of acquired companies’ IT systems and processes into the organization’s infrastructure
  • Monitor emerging IT trends and technologies and advise executive leadership on operational and financial impacts
  • Establish and track KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of IT systems, vendors, and third-party service providers
  • Analyze infrastructure and system performance to identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Manage relationships with external IT vendors, consultants, and service providers, including contract negotiation and administration
  • Develop and manage the IT budget while ensuring cost-effective technology solutions
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring system reliability and high performance
  • Provide user training and technical resources related to company IT systems
  • Develop knowledge and implementation strategies related to Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
  • Manage IT projects utilizing Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and traditional waterfall methodologies
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team through coaching, performance management, and employee development initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to manage complex projects and teams in a fast-paced environment., * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required

  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive IT operations experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership or management experience
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, cybersecurity, databases, telecommunications, and storage systems
  • Proven experience managing enterprise infrastructure and complex IT environments
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with ERP systems and enterprise integrations preferred
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards strongly preferred

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Office and manufacturing facility environment
  • Regular travel between two company locations required
  • Prolonged periods sitting and working on a computer
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required
