Job description
- Work with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to support SW operations during feature development.
- Facilitate Alpha / Beta preparation and execution for early product testing of SW releases.
- Lead and facilitate quarterly PI planning activities.
- Develop / refine process on any of the above to improve overall organization efficiency
- Present status of key release activities to all levels of the organization (VP level and above).
- Demonstrate best practices for developing schedules and understand the critical path.
- Monitor the execution of release activities to ensure all dependencies are met and drive releases to completion.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders (internal and external) to resolve conflicts and drive successful delivery of releases.
- Manage expectations of project sponsor and stakeholder with timely communication/escalation of risks/issues, their impact, and appropriate mitigation/corrective actions.
- Recommend corrective actions and implement changes.
- Successfully identify and mitigate release risks.
- Ensure all release related documentation is completed and archived in the appropriate storage location.
- Demonstrated competency with a project management tool (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet).
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stakeholder management?, * Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to collaborate with internal and external business/technical teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Highly organized, structured, and process oriented; team building skills a plus.
- Able to simplify a complex situation and provide updates accordingly.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated competency with the Jira platform.
- Familiar with the D-Stream process.
- Familiar with waterfall, scrum and agile development methodologies and their associated quality assurance methods.
- Certified PMP preferred., * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years Project Management experience, preferably with experience in Software Development, Telecommunications, Radio Communications, or Aerospace/Defense preferred.
