Job description

Position 1 Recruitment are seeking a Group Director of Digital Systems on behalf of one of our clients based in Watton. This newly created role has been introduced to support the organisation’s continued growth and increasing operational complexity., Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, the successful candidate will lead the strategy, performance, and development of the Group’s global digital infrastructure. Responsibilities will include ensuring enterprise platforms including Engineering, CRM, ERP, and finance systems are secure, resilient, and scalable to support long-term business objectives., The Director of Digital Systems will define and lead the strategy for enterprise applications and data platforms, ensuring systems support business needs and follow modern technology practices. The role is responsible for delivering scalable, reliable, and high-performing solutions while minimising technical risk.

  • Develop and lead the applications and data platform strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and overall IT direction.
  • Oversee the design, development, implementation, configuration, and integration of business applications.
  • Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap across applications, data, integrations, and supporting technologies.
  • Establish and continuously improve architecture standards, design principles, governance, and compliance processes.
  • Manage strategic relationships with software suppliers across packaged, SaaS, and bespoke solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior IT stakeholders to ensure alignment with cyber security standards, policies, and IT governance procedures.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software development?, · Brings 10-15 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within complex, multi-site, or international environments with in manufacturing.

· Has extensive experience implementing and overseeing engineering, CRM, ERP, and finance systems in complex organisations.

· Demonstrates a strong track record of leading globally distributed technology teams.

· Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and collaborate effectively across international teams.
