Job description

  • Deliver on project requirements by researching, designing, prototyping and testing design solutions for an ecommerce platform
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and written documentation to communicate interface elements and interactions
  • Provide elegant solutions to design problems that balance user goals with business requirements and technical limitations
  • Work with cross-functional team members to promote designs that are both technically feasible and resource economical
  • Analyze and leverage user research, customer feedback, site metrics and usability findings to tailor interfaces to meet specific needs and objectives
  • Read, analyze and understand documents that provide information used in the course of projects (requirements, surveys, reports, etc.)
  • Manage time and schedule in order to meet, and exceed commitment to project delivery.Maintain up-to-date expertise in goal-directed design and usability principles

Requirements

Do you have experience in User research for product design?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Skill evaluation: Behavioral (80%)

  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Knowledge of user research and usability testing
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadline deliverables
  • Proficient with UX software like Axure and Sketch
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external customers
  • Highly effective teamwork and interpersonal skills with wide target audiences
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility and aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is preferred

User Experience Designer (UXD) I

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field or related work experience
  • Requires experience in positions focused on designing user experience for ecommerce
  • Portfolio of printed or electronic samples demonstrating experience is required

User Experience Designer (UXD) II

  • Propose, help develop, and participate in user research activities., * 2+ years experience in positions focused on designing user experience for ecommerce required. For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience.
  • Experience with ecommerce sites/platforms and understanding the needs and interactions of customers within those sites
  • Experience in performing user research and usability testing
  • Experience with industry related UX software like Axure and Sketch
  • Experience in practical application of HTML 5 and CSS 3
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript
