Field IT Support Technician

As a Field IT Support Technician, you will perform onsite installation and maintenance support on a variety of computer equipment, printers, and specialized Key Control equipment. Each technician is provided with a company vehicle that will be used to travel to our customer sites. Other duties include maintaining an inventory of repair parts and documenting your work through our service tracking system.</p> Some of the hardware you will be working with is as follows: Application Servers PC’s Cabling Switches Printers Routers Fiber Converters Scanners</p> , You will have an assigned territory and will attend a paid training program in College Station, Texas. The training is primarily a hands-on familiarization course of the equipment at customer sites and will also teach our policies and procedures.</p>

Technical associates degree or equivalent work experience; 1+ years of technical experience (hardware/networking); Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on a consistent basis; Must be able to attend a paid training class in Texas; Must have a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years; Good communication skills; Customer service experience; A+ and/or Network+ certified is a plus; Ability to travel, with hotel stays, up to 10% of the time</p>
