Job description

  • Contribute to the automation of manual tasks and managing large-scale infrastructure across cloud environments.
  • Support the automation of software delivery processes to improve release speed, safety, and reliability.
  • Apply security and compliance best practices within platform workflows and data processes.
  • Help implement monitoring and observability for automated workflows and pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and build workflow automations.
  • Research and propose tools and approaches that improve platform capabilities.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tooling?, * 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience.

  • Strong software engineering background (Python or Ruby preferred), with experience developing, containerizing, and debugging applications within distributed, cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, with hands-on experience building cloud-based environments and managing container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience building and maintaining large-scale Infrastructure as Code deployments (AWS CDK, Terraform).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability concepts and tools (DataDog, Grafana).
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and governance best practices.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with database technologies (SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS).
  • Experience in data engineering (Apache Spark, Apache Iceberg, AWS Glue, Snowflake).

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time, (up to 8 hours per day) at a desk working on a computer.
  • Must be able to use standard office equipment for extended periods of time, including but not limited to, a mouse, keyboard, phone and video conferencing.
