Job description

As a subject matter expert (SME), the IT Support Specialist implements, supports, enhances, maintains, and administrates IT infrastructure and global applications, monitor cybersecurity risks, perform data backup and restore, data management, telecommunications networking connectivity to ensure the reliability, availability and data integrity of all computer systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide support, tracking and administration of IT assets to make sure the IT systems are performing as expected.
  • Follow the IT policies and procedures to design, configure and deliver IT solutions to support business growth.
  • Document system changes and upgrades to comply with regulatory requirements
  • Drive technology improvements and efficiency opportunities to improve business and compliance.
  • Contribute to change controls and procedures specific to laboratory software.
  • Coordinate/interface/host vendors on site, when applicable.
  • Point of contact for communication between Corporate IT and laboratory groups.
  • Manage data integration of various corporate global applications.
  • Provide training to users in specific applications and systems.
  • Trouble shoot day to day user technical issues and problems.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Regulatory compliance?, Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific, engineering, or computer-based area with

  • 2 years’ experience in corporate IT management or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.

  • Knowledge of cyber security, data analysis, data integrity and IT infrastructure management.
  • Understanding government regulation.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills.
