Job description

The Database Administrator manages all aspects of the BH Pulse survey database, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient storage, processing, and retrieval of sensitive behavioral health and unit climate data while maintaining full regulatory compliance (Privacy Act, PII handling, IRB/OMB support, etc.)., * Establish and perform routine database maintenance on Microsoft SQL Server (2016 & 2019) in a production environment.

Deploy and manage SSIS packages, clusters, and data aggregation processes.
Support data security, de-identification, transfer, and storage requirements.
Assist with compliance documentation and approvals (ARMD, OMB, IRB, AHRPO).
Work with the Software Engineer on database-related system enhancements and reporting.
Ensure data integrity for automated report generation and comparative analysis against historical Army units.
Support knowledge management data analytics and decommissioning data handover.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Minimum of six (6) years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 & 2019), including administration of production environments and deploying/managing MSSQL Server clusters.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience administering production environments, including SSIS packages.
Demonstrated experience working in DoD environments.
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
