We’re Hiring: Field Service Technician (Contract) Jacksonville, FL $17-$25/hr + Growth Potential

Cook Tech is expanding! We’re on the lookout for reliable, detail-oriented Field Service Technicians to join our dynamic team supporting structured cabling and low-voltage installations across commercial sites. If you’re hands-on, tech-savvy, and eager to grow-this is your launchpad.

What You’ll Do: Complete assigned work orders on-site (data cabling, hardware installs, network troubleshooting)

• Maintain a polished, professional presence
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and project leads
• Ensure all site documentation is completed and submitted correctly
• Troubleshoot and adapt as needed-no two sites are the same

Tools & Requirements: Personal kit with basic tools (punch tool, toner/tester, crimper, laptop, etc.)

• Reliable vehicle and ability to travel within a 45-mile radius (with mileage pay beyond that)
• Smartphone with camera/internet access
• Excellent communication and time management
• 1099 contractor status
