Windows System Engineer

• Act as a technical resource for all Windows OS and Microsoft technology-related projects
• Responsible for maintaining and optimizing Windows servers
• Responsible for support of Exchange 2010 and Office 365 hybrid cloud E-mail system
• Responsible for maintaining and continued rollout of Office 365 tenant and related cloud technologies
• Responsible for ActiveDirectory domain architecture responsible for support of Hyper-V environments
• Responsible for Microsoft RDS and VDI environments
• Responsible for support of VMWare vCenter/ESX host configurations and operations
• Responsible for maintaining monitoring and company-wide auditing of software packages and hardware inventory
• Responsible for the management and administration of Mimecast solutions
• Responsible for support of MS SharePoint collaboration system
• Responsible for the testing and deployment of software packages on Windows servers
• Creating, testing and deploying of Powershell scripts
• Will act as technical lead on large corporate projects
• Responsible for developing and adhering to project timelines and budgets
• Maintains a high level of technical expertise in related areas
• May perform other duties as required

• Track record of successfully implementing Microsoft enterprise solutions
• Expert knowledge of Windows server/workstation operating systems a must
• Experience with Corporate Email environments utilizing Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
• Experience implementing and managing Office 365 cloud technologies
• Sound understanding of network fundamentals and core networking technologies experience with Microsoft RDS
• Experience with Hyper-V Virtualization Environments including clustering
• Experience with VMware ESXi
• Experience with AWS cloud solutions
• Experience with Powershell and remote management
• Some experience with HP thin clients is a plus
• Storage experience with Netapp storage solutions is a plus

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 5+ years Server Engineer experience
• 2-4 years LAN experience
• Windows Server MCSE certification strongly preferred
