Lead Cyber Technical Solutions Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Cyber Technical Solutions Engineer to support a high-impact federal customer. This individual will act as both a technical leader and customer-facing advisor, guiding a small team while directly engaging with stakeholders to deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions. The role brings together leadership, engineering, and consulting- someone who can translate mission needs into technical execution, support GRC tooling customization, and step in hands-on when necessary. Ideal candidates are comfortable owning client relationships and bring a strong foundation in cybersecurity experience within federal spaces.

*Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

*Bachelor’s Degree + 8+ years of experience (degree may be flexible depending on YOE)

*Demonstrated leadership experience (leading teams, projects, or initiatives-people management not required)

*IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent)

*Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification, such as: CEH, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, CND, CYSA+ (Can give contingent offer if candidate is obtaining cert)

*Experience with GRC Tool solutioning (ex. Xacta)

*Experience using Python to build API and systems integration

*Ability to operate in both leadership and hands-on technical capacity

*Experience with Linux, Linux administration, and virtual platforms

*Strong client-facing communication skills (stakeholder engagement, documentation)

*Understand and familiar with RMF (Risk Management Framework) *Experience with Xacta or other GRC tools

*AWS or cloud environment experience (any cloud provider acceptable)

*Prior experience supporting federal/DIA environments
