Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Network Operations Analyst to join our team and drive excellence in managing and supporting our complex IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing network systems across diverse environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Your expertise will help safeguard our network assets, troubleshoot issues proactively, and implement innovative solutions to support our organization’s growth. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about network engineering and security, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact!, * Monitor and manage wide area networks (WAN), local area networks (LAN), data centers, and cloud-based infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance.

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and support Cisco networking devices including routers, switches, ASA firewalls, Meraki access points, and Cisco ISE for identity services.
  • Implement and maintain network security protocols such as IPsec VPNs, PKI certificates, IDS/IPS systems, LDAP authentication, and encryption standards to protect organizational data.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools like Splunk and SolarWinds; perform regular network security audits; respond swiftly to security incidents.
  • Automate network management tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell; utilize Ansible for configuration management; support DevOps initiatives.
  • Support network installation projects including fiber optic cabling, Ethernet setups, VPN configurations, load balancing solutions, and high availability architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system administration tasks involving operating systems like Linux (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu), Windows Server environments, VMware vSphere, AWS cloud services, and Citrix virtualization platforms.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture diagrams, system configurations, change logs following ITIL best practices; ensure compliance with SDLC processes.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Incident response?, * Proven experience with computer networking concepts including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP EIGRP), network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), VLANs, MPLS networks, and Ethernet switching.

  • Strong knowledge of network security tools such as firewalls (Cisco ASA), SSO solutions like Active Directory/LDAP integration; familiarity with SFTP/FTP/HTTPS protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security platforms such as Azure and AWS; familiarity with virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere and Citrix.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation; experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or PRTG.
  • Understanding of system administration across multiple operating systems including Windows Server editions and Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS); knowledge of high availability configurations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies effectively.
