Deep expertise with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (or equivalent), kernel-level troubleshooting, and imaging/provisioning tools such as Kickstart or Ansible.

Strong scripting/automation skills (Bash, Python, Perl) for system management and security hardening.

Proven experience implementing and maintaining DISA/STIG security policies on Linux servers.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (and/or hold Security+ certification).

Solid understanding of storage solutions and data-intensive pipeline support.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Air gapped or classified networks

  • Hands on with legacy UNIX (Solaris) or vendor customized Linux distributions

  • Automation frameworks: Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins

  • Exposure to HPC, distributed compute clusters, or cloud native workloads
